Summary: As if his life is not complicated enough Takaba Akihito had to go and involve his eldest brother. Who's not exactly an innocent man and, to his bewildered horror, is someone Asami is actually looking for. To kill. For reasons neither are willing to talk about.

Akihito soon finds himself square in the middle of a private war between two of the most important people in his life. Both are trying to gain his support without revealing the past transgressions that's gotten them to this bloody, high-tech, bullet-ridden point where no one and nothing is safe. Not even Akihito's already battered heart.

Comments: If Akihito is 23 and Asami is 35...guess how old Iishido is if he's several years older than Asami. ^_^ And for those who are fearful of this type of thing; No, whatever happened in the past does not involve Asami in a sexual relationship with Iishido or any other original character of mine.

Hey, I have my pride. *grins* If my OC are going to get together with anyone it's going to be with my other OC's, not someone else's characters...no matter how fabulous Yamane-sensei's characters are. They're just not mine, you know? In other words, this is not another "Flower in the Highloft" a.k.a "Skyscraper Blossom".
