Summery: Yuki Eiri and Shindo Shuichi explores their relationship thru various artistic media. Here, Eiri is working on a massive joint project with Shuichi on a story about a young man growing into adulthood in an earlier century involving photography, written words and a diary uploaded to a website that traces geneology.

Comments: Thank you for all the lovely, encouraging comments. Especially the constructively critical ones. It means a lot. Chapter 01 has been re-written to reflect where this story is going. There is a plot, convulated and circular though it is, it's there.
This was created to be a part of 'Structures of Trust'. I already have the ending chapter written, but how many chapters are there between this and that last one, I don't know. It will very likely be more than ten. Originally, this was only two chapters.

Notes:
1. I find the tessen or steel (either ribbed or reinforced 'sheet') fan a much more elegant weapon than the samurai katana. It's not a female-only weapon, in fact it is a favorite of the samurai themselves.
2. Cranes mate for life. They are symbols of love, fidelity and also of eternity (not to be confused with 'immortality'). A very popular motif in Japanese/Chinese/East Asian weddings.
